Introduce Yourself Concisely
Greet the person well and introduce yourself in the very beginning. Also make the agenda of the meeting clear in the beginning. You could refer a template script as given –
Hi, thanks for being here. It’s a pleasure connecting with you here. So, I overlook sales for Vertoz. And just to give you an overview, today we’ll be covering ——- in this meeting. At any given point if you’d want me to reiterate something, feel free to interrupt me.
Have A Neat Work-Friendly Background
If you’re conducting the meeting from your home, make sure it’s neatly done. This prevents your attendees from getting distracted. Ensure that you’re at a place that has minimal background noise since you will be providing a platform demo, you’re going to speak throughout the meeting.
Look Into The Camera While Presenting
If you’re looking at yourself while presenting, it will seem like your attention is somewhere else. Looking into the camera gives an impression that you’re directly looking at your attendees. This keeps them engaged and attentive to the topic of the discussion.
Stick Around Till The Attendees Leave
When you’re the host, you need to be around until those who joined the meeting have left. This lets attendees have their own space and time in case they want to add something to the discussion or ask their queries.
